Didn't mean to imply that at all, and I apologize to anyone that I might offend.
By "have", I mean that if, for instance, a vegetarian ended up unknowingly consuming something that contained an animal product (say, chicken broth), that would be bad, but chances are they'd never be the wiser. If, on the other hand, I ever consume anything containing gluten in any form, I will be violently ill within a few hours.
At least it's not a life-threatening allergy. There are serious long-term consequences (malnutrition, increased cancer risks), but nothing like the anaphylactic shock of a good peanut or seafood allergy...
