I never thought of goin with two different programs. My only issue with that is we are already well past the point of having two UA one ways. In fact, we'll be at the point of having enough miles for Three One-Ways in July 2018. I did some more research &it looks like UA has some partner award, that go for about 50 of the UA standard rate. That said, if we book extremely early, and can be flexible about our travel dates, that could save us.

While the above is the main cause of my interest in the subject, I an still curious as to how many miles = $1.00 for airlines that have a true dynamic awards system. If anyone has any experience with this, please chime in.
