KARFA says - I did this the Saturday before last (described
here), and it took nearly 30 minutes from row 1 to row 1. There were KLM and Easyjet flights leaving around the same time, as well as a few smaller turboprops to the islands: the security queue was indeed significant and, with only one scanner open, not exactly quick moving. I'm sure you would be able to jump the queue if you had to, but for peace of mind, I'd get as far forward as you can anyway!

I've moved myself into a middle seat in Row 10 (well at least it's the Emergency Exit row), but I'm prepared to have to dash for the flight!
