Had no problems within * A carriers ona single ticket, for example, IAD-FRA-BLR on UA for first segment, LH for the second. But when I came back BKK-HKG on CX, HKG-EWR on UA, also on the same ticket, Cathay tagged the bag through, but needed to go to the UA transfer desk to check in (because CX couldn’t do it) and to confirm the bag transfer.
