Can anyone confirm if this is the case? Needing a *A award with the long-haul in SQ. Currently only advantage available. Seems unlikely as this would work out a fair bit cheaper than an SQ only for the same regions.

On a separate note.. If this is not possible (which I assume will be the case) can one waitlist a saver with star alliance legs?
