I recently purchased lifemiles, confirmed award tix with EVA and Asiana. Was able to do the first airline but struggled in the Asiana website for a while trying to select seats for BKK-ICN-LAX flights. Eventually did a web search and found a web page (pointsmilesandmore.com) with a phone number (800-227-4262), took 3 minutes to do over the phone, friendly service. Hope this helps.
