The view from 7F will be partially obstructed by the wing and engine. The view from 1F is clear. Note that the seat footwell in 1F is a few inches shorter, but it sounds as though you're not going to sleep, so that should be no issue.

In the couple of hours after sunrise / before sunset, the sun can come straight through the window and be bothersome in its intensity, but in the middle of the day I never feel that I am bothering anyone by having the shades open.
