That’s good to know. The AA arrival lounge is quite nice (or was) last time there. I was off at LHR instead of connecting though, and it’s been a while since I’ve done a connection through.

If it were me I’d use the arrival lounge, get my shower then depending on time either train or cab (if you feel time tight). If cabbing get dropped off at start of drop off zone (North) if regular FastTrak or the opposite end if you have access to BA First Check in at T5. Chill out for a smoke with the BA cabin crew then head to security (max 5 mins to get through). Your domestic connection will be normally (90% of the time) gates A1-A14 (which means the regular FastTrak normally more convenient from a walking perspective). And you might even have time to grab a coffee in the lounge....
