From a practical standpoint if you must be on the south (F) side of the aircraft to see the sights, then IMO the least disruptive seat would be the furthest aft in the cabin. If you pick a seat in the forward portion other pax will have a direct line of sight to your open window from their normal (forward facing) seated position. If you are seated in the aft portion the glare will be behind the majority of the other pax.
