Upon consulting my fellow US mods, this thread is going to be closed.

It does not have anything directly to do with US, miles, and/or points (with the exception that US and Southwest are now competing at PHL). That's insufficient to make the thread "topical" for the US forum (besides the rabid dislike that many/most here have for Southwest).

I'm not inclined to move it to the Southwest forum, for obvious reasons, and I don't know that there is a forum that's apropos for such a thing (this is obviously much further over the top than SSM or the like).

If anyone can think of an appropriate forum for this, I'd be happy to move it there. Until then, this one is history.
