Possible to determine whether BA0092 (YYZ-LHR) is newer plane or refurbished?

Firstly I am not a frequent flyer but a few days ago I flew on BA2271 (LGW-YYZ) in World traveller plus and had a really negative experience for several reasons mostly to do with how old the cabin was (I've recently had major surgery so I'm much more sensitive to the discomfort). The interior looked like it was designed in the 1980s, the seat tray that extended out of the armrest was broken so I had to hold my food tray, 4 inch screens, I had a big metal block in front of my feet preventing any extension etc. I desperately want to avoid travelling on this plane again. My return flight is a slightly different route - BA0092 (YYZ-LHR). Is there any way to determine if the plane on this route will be the same tired old plane or a newer or recently refurbished plane?
