You could mix & match LAX/SFO with MEL/SYD.
UA also fly to AKL, New Zealand. (AKL - SYD/MEL ~3:15hrs)
Hoping for 3 or 4 premium awards on the same aircraft on a very popular premium award route is being a tad optimistic.
