Just a quick DP.

I had applied for the Surpass under this promo on 19-Apr-2017 and got instant approval. I only spent the minimum $3K for the 100K bonus points. My card was converted to the Ascend like everyone else.

On 7-May-18, I got an email from Hilton informing me about the free weekend night (for the first anniversary, as per the sign-up offer). The $95 annual fee was charged on 9-May-18.
