Precisely.

Another exceptional circumstance is during severe irrops, when everyone’s got a story of missing a connection. In that case, everyone’s in the same boat, so line up with everyone else. I had a British “lady” try to barge in in front of me (and a hundred others) at DXB connection security during bad weather, everything was delayed.

Her flight was due to leave after mine, but she wouldn’t have any of it, and barged in anyway. I made sure of my distaste for her actions... as did half a dozen others directly behind me.

“I’m flying Business” she said.

“So what?” I asked.

”I’ve paid for better service” she responded.

”And I’ve paid for even better service” showing her my F boarding card.
