I believe the SOP is that the cabin crew looking after you is supposed to introduce himself (to your seat pair at least, if not individually), ask if you need help with your seat/IFE, etc. (a smart one would check your status and skip the Seat/IFE bit if you're a regular).

So if no crew welcomed you at all on that recent flight, I don't think they followed procedure.
