Getting back to the thread topic, my guess is if you've ever been stuck next to a truly obnoxious inebriate for a long flight, you're likely to much more strongly in favor of FAs cutting off the tap early.
I've been stuck next to more obnoxious sober people than inebriated ones, so on that basis I vote on mandatory shots of tequila when boarding.
