I can confirm that as well - although I did use Fastrack when I was there! Even that wasn't entirely smooth, with people being turned back at the scanners for not having fastrack security. I even got a bit of a "why are you here" look when I handed my phone (with boarding pass) to the security agent scanning BP's (to be fair, I am a mid twenties male who was dressed in Jeans and a hoodie, but that shouldn't be an issue as I've done it many times before!)

I've always found STN to be a cattle market when travelling and glad I can take advantage of Fastrack whenever I travel there (via my EJ+ subscription)
