Anyone have any information on how AA is charged by IB (or other OneWorld carriers) for J class awards issued to AAdvantage members? Specifically, if using AA miles, one obtains an IB business class award from USA to MAD, does AA pay IB for that seat and if so, how much? I realize there are two levels of AAwards, Anytime and SAAver, but I wonder if IB gets cash or just AAdvantage miles to barter back.
