The lounge was pathetic and honestly breakfasts at the Holiday Inn Express (and comparable hotels) have better offerings. Terrible "eggs" (not real eggs, definitely powdered) and manufactured French toast slices or pancakes; no other hot items. The cut fruit was decent but that's all. Many more people than there are seats. My advice: Don't stay at this hotel.
I'd have to agree with you FlytheTail. Had a two-night stay recently. I love the location of the Palmer House, but the stay was completely underwhelming. When I got to my room, I noticed that the electrical plugs in the bed lamp were so loose, that my charger could not charge my devices. I mentioned it to the front desk, when they texted me about how my room was, and they said they would send someone out, but no one ever came (in two days). Also, no maid service at all. Next time I'll try a different hotel in the loop.
