Here is the problem:

My GF's Mom called me last night trying to set up an uber account. She is 84 never downloaded an app before.
So I walk her thru that on the phone no problem

Finally she gets to the sign up and Uber tells her that her phone number is already in use. Then she remembers to tell me that she set up an account using her computer but never finished the registration, she got to the point of Uber sending her the verification code but isn't that clear what she did next

So I have spent the morning searching and all I can come up with is this link

Uber email me your problem and we will get back to you link

I presume they will just reset her account? IDK - I set mine up way back when and have never had a problem so I'm not familiar with how to get these things fixed. I even joined the Uber forum this morning and couldn't find my answer.

Is that her only option or does anyone else have another work around for this particular problem?
