The pier is definitely better than the wing IMHO, more relaxing setting and better view but it's a bit of a hike to go there and back to the BA gates. The Pier shower rooms are great but I've not yet managed to get a Cabana within any reasonable timeframe for hanging about there.

Be aware that the Cathay lounge provider changed a couple of weeks ago and while things might be sorted out by now the experiences were pretty variable for the first few days with a lot of new staff. Lot of discussion on the Cathay forum. I'm back through there in a couple of days so will see if it's sorted itself out.

Which brings me onto the Qantas lounge Espresso Martini, which is far superior to the Wing.
