SAN has a very limiting FIS (immigration) area, where international flights are staggered throughout the day to avoid back-ups at the facility. If there is not another international flight at your arrival time, and with you being F class and presumably being first off, there shouldn't be a long wait at immigration. One thing to be careful is that T1W where AS operates from at SAN can get very congested at various times throughout the day, with lines for security stretching into the terminal lobby. I've had it be hit or miss on whether the lines are long, even at the same departure times. It'd be best to rush over there as soon as you grab your bags! Also, T1W is very small, with limited concessions and seating, but the AS employees are generally friendly and should be able to help if your connection goes awry.
Hope you enjoy the approach into SAN, if you're on the left side of the plane it's a beautiful (and somewhat exhilarating) approach right next to the downtown area.
Hope this information helps!
