Silver is Silver, and you'll get those benefits on BA and other OW carriers until next January, even if you henceforth credit BA flights to the AS program. But if you don't rack up any more TPs on BA this year, your Silver status will turn into a Bronze pumpkin after January.
I've made it to silver last week, so it should last me until 2020, surely? I'll just need 600TPs again in 2019? My intention was indeed to begin crediting to BAEC again once my new collection year starts, until I reach the magic 600TPs.
