Does AA prioritize larger planes in OSO / bad weather?
Over the past few days, PHL was hit with thunderstorms. I was on a regional jet that was heading to a smaller city, and then flying back, and both flights were delayed about 2 1/2 hours each. I noticed that mainline flights between PHL and CLT, however, seemed pretty much on time, and I gave up on the return regional jet flight due to the delay, drove to a nearby airport, and flew back into EWR on a 737, which was on time.
So: does AA prioritize larger planes in case of bad weather at PHL (and other larger Northeastern airports)?
Thanks.
