Never went to a bathouse in TPE (actually, only been to one in my life...ah, Berlin...sigh), but did go to the clubs there. Lots of handsome and friendly Taiwanese guys. Make sure you take business cards! For some reason, the exchange of a card is a big deal.

Being white myself, the only irritating thing I have found about gay clubbing in Asia is that if you try and strike up a conversation with an "occidental" (or someone obviously from the same place you are), all you get is rude behaviour and attitude. It's like if you're seen talking to a non-Asian, you somehow aren't going to get lucky with an Asian. What's up with that?
