No - pre=departure checks were done, plane taxied, CSD did the 'seats for take off' announcement. At this point I looked up from my seat in 12J and noticed the overhead locker opposite me with person below it (and very well known former UK Cabinet Minister next to him) was still open (e.g not locked shut) and due to the seating arrangements (rear facing) had no visibility to cabin crew to alert them to the issue. I pointed it to my other half, who also couldnt get CC attention - they ended up looking back and calling to the person to notify them - this person had to stand up to shut it.

As soon as seatbelts were off and I was waiting for the loo, I discretely notifed a senior CC member in case BA has a 'near miss' culture that needed it to be recorded.
