Mon Cher Ton Ton is a tourist trap (both the Shinjuku and Roppongi locations) - pretty expensive for the quality offered (poor C/P performer) and depending on tourist business to survive.

For great teppanyaki, I would recommend either Ukai-tei or Kira. Both have branches located in Ginza. Neither is cheap, but the quality will be significantly better than what's on offer at Mon Cher Ton Ton.
