I agree. I had booked for the July 4th weekend and I'm offered the crappy Sheraton Cabo (!) or the JW which is fine, but it ain't Luxury Collection.

I wrote saying how would they not have known this sooner.

I had booked flights for the family.

I suggested they give me a a free 4/5 night stay at a later date and was roundly rebuffed. No free stay. No starpoints as compensation. Nothing.

Very disappointing.
