Have you considered purchasing Ambassador? Or paying for 1 of your nights? Honestly until you arrive, one never knows precisely what you’ll get as far as an upgrade. I believe the ocean view is what we had and I’d consider it ocean front—absolutely no complaints. Second floor with large balcony right full on beach/ocean location. Newly renovated (well at the time). If that’s what they’re offering you for an extra $50 on a solely reduced points rate as a platinum, I’d grab it in a flash. I believe the beach front rooms are ground level in the same low rise buildings. See my post from July 2017.
