I'm not very good at sleeping on planes, even in a flat bed seat, so I'd fly the day before my meetings and rest on the ground. Alas, it does not appear that anything lands at night, so I'd have to spend an entire day on the ground. Not much to do in FRA. BRU and ZRH seem much more interesting. So, I can fly the day before, spend the day in BRU or ZRH, then take a quick flight for my first meeting in FRA, arriving refreshed.

I may also need the AA miles to maintain PLT, which makes it worth some inconvenience.
