There are some choices in Europe!

I think OS and LX would be wonderful partners (and their hubs are good too).

LH is also ok - at least it's reliable, I had one issue with LH strike some years ago but I was taken care of very well, which I can not say about AF.

I also like Norwegian, despite being low cost. With free WiFi and $10 for exit row seat I would take it in a heartbeat instead of AF. Unfortunately they do not have a good hub structure which would be useful for DL, but maybe someday in the future...

Someone menioned TK - here I disagree. Maybe it's good in the air but their service recovery is disatrous and the airline safety practices are questionable (looking at recent near crashes in AER, NCE and accident in KTM). So no TK please. It's also useless for USA - West Europe connections.
