We did this in January...
...We brought our own witnesses, but the concierge at our hotel arranged to have hotel staff serve as witnesses for two other ceremonies held in the hotel that weekend.
We stayed and had our ceremony at the Pacific Palisades Hotel (Robson at Jervis) and got our license two blocks away at Coast Capital Insurance on Georgia at Thurlow.

I'm curious - was this a spur of the moment event for you two, or did you plan it with tuxes/dresses (sorry don't know your gender identity) cake, photographers, etc.
Did you enjoy your stay at the Pac. Palisades? Were the staff helpful and receptive to your event there? I ask only because Pacific Palisades doesn't pop up on any of the websites mentioned as gay-friendly.
The other hotel we were considering was the Pan Pacific - I believe that's the one on the waterfront where all the cruise ships dock, am I correct? If not, someone please correct me.
