Has anyone else noticed that the pilots/cabin crew no longer seem to bother drawing attention to the safety video?

Historically the pilot or CC would come on before the video and say "it's very important please give it your full attention". On most flights this year the video seems to have just been started, as if it's an embarrassment and they actively don't want to draw attention to it.
