I think only LH is particulary ungrateful and alarming. SQ provided a some kind of compensation. Then depending on how much did you work on the plane. If you spent 5 minutes, you can get a bottle of good wine and I think it's fine. If you have to manage an heart attack and you save a life I think you should have a round ticket for all your family. I didn't asked Lufthansa anything, but a free upgrade for 1 person will work for me since I didn't enjoyed the flight with them and I made them save hundreds of thousands of euro.
But again, I'm shocked for the LH reply.
