They did this several years ago. The substitute breakfast is free buffet in the restaurant, which has a great selection and okay (not spectacular) quality. The substitute "lounge" is a hospitality suite on the 24th floor. It's a pretty big downgrade, though it's to their credit they don't force you to eat breakfast there (as pretty much any US property would).
