As a PDX-based MVP who was traveling at leisure-traveler times, I had excellent upgrade success up and down the coast and generally felt very well-treated despite being at the lowest elite tier. But the upgrades are getting rarer now that I'm flying out of SEA, and these changes aren't exactly helpful.
