Hoping you can help.

I want to prebook the best seats for our flight to JFK from LHR, BA0177 - I read up and it looks like the Boeing 747 flies most often, but the seat selection they show on the BA app doesn't seem to match. I cant attach photos for some reason, but the app shows rows 26 (exit row) - A to K (with middle 3 blanked out) to row 39 which is Twin seats each side and 3 in the middle - against bulkhead with toilets and galley behind (mostly to the left side).

Do you guys know which aircraft will be used, and which seat would you suggest?

If we take the exit seats how does the TV work? Can you use the tray table at the same time? Does it restrict seat width and is it less easy to use that when it's in the seatback in front of you?

If we took the twin pair at the back, can you recline or is it right up against the bulkhead? I also didn't really want to be that close to the loos..

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
