As I said above, I believe we would not be allowed to check our baggage all the way through from LCY to AMS to MSQ on separate tickets, and there is insufficient time at AMS to collect the baggage and check it back in. Can somebody please confirm?
When travelling on separate tickets, you MAKE sufficient time for this, by booking a longer layover.
There are as many as 8 KLM flights a day from LCY to AMS, as well as a single Flybe flight on weekdays, and up to 7 BA flights.
On a route with as many as 16 flights spread throughout the day, you CANNOT say that there is insufficient time to collect baggage and check it back in...
