Nice review! Think I'd agree with pretty much everything here based on my stay except that the English and overall service levels definitely seem to have improved.

Especially agree with the part about the food - the Chinese at Amanfayun is fantastic; everything else, not so much. Even with the Chinese though, one issue they face is lack of consistency across the various (outsourced) restaurants.
