I don't understand why this is being presented as a 787-10 pilot base issue. Given the commonality between 787-8, -9 and -10, it is my understanding that a pilot certified to fly one can (with no more than minor extra instruction) fly all. Thus, it is simply whether a 787 domicile will be created in EWR. The issue of it being for -10s is somewhat irrelevant.
