I was booked on a LIN-LCY this afternoon. Received a "the schedule of your flight has been changed" email last Friday evening. I saw they'd brought my flight forward by 3 hours, which was a very minor irritation but overall fine.

Then late yesterday afternoon, when trying to check-in (and being unable to) I discovered that in fact they'd put my flight back by 21 hours, i.e. to tomorrow. This would have negated the reason for me flying to London, but luckily I managed to get myself rebooked on the last LHR flight with just enough time to get home, hurriedly pack, kiss the wife goodbye and dash to Linate on my scooter.

Serves me right for not reading the email carefully enough....
