Correct. At no time did I receive the usual email receipt.

Note that this also happened on the previous BA ticket I purchased back in Dec 2017. And it seems more before that. I don't always need a receipt and indeed can use my credit card statement in most cases so I didn't bother BA in the past. But scrolling through old emails it seems that it might be well over a year since I received an email receipt from BA. QR receipts and those of other airlines are received just fine of course.

Also I found a receipt from 2016 which had an involuntary reroute. BA sent an updated receipt and itinerary in that case.
