Bingo. AA does not have PE specific FAs IIRC, so it really is just the front of Y with bigger seats, better food and booze. The food is definitely better than Y from what I remember. It is a limited selection of the J meals or thereabouts vs the chicken or pasta option in the back.
I just wish they had gone with red seats instead of dark gray. It is the drabest cabin I have ever seen.
