If it will be a regular thing set up an account with Southwest Cargo. You have to jump through a few TSA verification hoops but it is pretty simple. It does however take some time to get established as a Known Shipper. We ship pelican cases with us all over the country via SW Cargo and it is by far the most efficient way to move items of that size IMO.

Cargo is SUPER simple...we drop off at cargo on that way to the airport, ship NFG scheduled on our flights then by time we land, deplane, get checked luggage and get a car or Uber and drive over the the cargo terminal shipment is usually waiting for us. If you live close to the airport, drop off earlier and ship "fright" and SW will hold if for pickup at your destination airport cargo terminal.

If we are in a city like New York where ground transportation is a problem we just hire a courier service to pick up from Cargo and bring to our location when we are ready to catch it.

Once you are a know shipper they have three tiers of service:

Freight (which is usually 24-48 hours)...winds up approx $1.50/lb all in
Rush which is 24 hour guarantee approx $1.75/lb
Next Flight Guaranteed runs about $2.00/lb

Those number vary a bit based on origin and destination regions but that is the guideline we use to budget and are usually pretty close.

If you wanna FedEx/UPS into a hotel or Convention Center you are also gonna have a hefty handing fee for them to receive a 130lb package you need to factor in.
