While I understand that a captain may request the help of passengers to fullfil duties in certain situations, this does not mean that doctors requested to provide assistance are not entitled to adequate compensation. To my view, you have a valid claim for compensation against LH and the passenger.

As a passenger, if I was sick to the point to need a doctor on board, I would make sure that I (actually my insurance) would compensate that doctor. I would not expect to receive a free service from a doctor, even aboard a plane.
