As for putting it into the garage rather than at the curb, a lot of airports do that. I'm not opposed in concept but if there's only going to be one lane in and out that's a problem.
BOS and MSY both have pickups on the ground level of parking garages, and both have single lane exits. I have had no issues with either, although I did hear reports of gridlock at MSY last week during the New Orleans Jazz Fest, the city’s second largest annual event.
As for LGA, I know we’re a jaded bunch, but let’s give PANYNJ the chance to iron out the kinks.
