May 6th flight from ORD, no bubbly before takeoff in J. I was surprised and I asked the flight attendant why, and they said they were surprised by the change as well but she did not have more details. Then the service cabin director came over to give more information, and she said it's now for all flights from the USA, because of a new directive from U.S. authorities? She was not sure when the rule became effective. Sorry if this was posted before (if so please delete); I had not flown from the USA recently so maybe it's old news, and I did not see anything about this subject on the first couple of pages of the QR forum.
