Yes, they are - 30” Meridian ultra slimline seats, ultra skimline toilets, capacity upped to 172 overall, of which 156 are MIn Cabin including 30 Main Cabin Extra.

In the long run, it won’t matter, as under Project Oasis all AA 738s will be retrofitted to 7M8 standards.

I doubt we’ll be hosting a comparison thread at this time given we have a set of threads for each aircraft and all 737s will be refitted to 7M8 standards and layout.
