I am monitoring UA1946 on Sunday (May 6). Seat map shows plenty of F seats available, but no upgrades? What are possible explanations?
United does not necessarily pass out CPUs at the start of the advertised upgrade windows on CPU-eligible flights , even if seats available. It doesn’t seem to matter whether or not UA expects to sell the seats at the last minute.
