i was just checking my account and found that an award stay at milwaukee that i booked using points was automagically changed to a FFN and the points returned to me. i dunno if this is standard practice or not but i also booked a PH chicago award points stay that the system convieniently overlooked as a candidate for FFN, since the cost was 15k vs 8k.

i'm going to call up GP and get them to change the FFN to apply to the chicago stay instead of milwaukee. i suggest those of you who have prebooked FFNs to make sure the FFN substitution is to your liking.
